Server Update - Revision 110

Recommended Posts

General

  • Fixed an issue where sometimes loot rolls would end prematurely
  • Creatures' call for assistance mechanics have been reworked
  • Creatures will no longer attempt to seek assistance from dead creatures nearby
  • Fixed an issue where sometimes mind controlled players would be stuck in infinite combat state
  • Scourge Invasion bosses have been removed from dungeons
  • Improved battleground handling
  • Improved overall server performance and addressed multiple stability issues

 

 

Hunter

  • Players should be able to cancel the Eyes of the Beast spell once again

 

Paladin

  • Reckoning should now generate an extra attack even if the main attack missed or was dodged/parried/blocked/immuned

 

Warrior

  • Players should no longer be able to use charge against aerial targets under certain circumstances

 

 

Pets

  • Addressed recent issues where pets would refuse to attack the enemy under certain circumstances

 

 

World Environment

  • Various Scarlet Crusade creatures had their movement speed corrected
  • Various creatures had their AI improved (150+)
  • The Vortex Pinnacle area in Blade's Edge Mountains zone has been completely revamped
  • The Aether Rays in Crystal Spine area in Blade's Edge Mountains had their patrol paths added
  • Bash'ir Surveyor is spawned in the Crystal Spine area now
  • An Iridescent Fel Spark kill will now give credit to all nearby Living Flare creatures
  • Blackwing Taskmaster's Healing Circle will no longer heal nearby players
  • Various Time-Lost creatures in the Skettis area in Terokkar Forest had their patrol paths added

 

 

Items

  • Shahram summoned by Blackblade of Shahram will now use one random ability when summoned
  • Ember of Azzinoth summoned by Shard of Azzinoth will deal fire damage now
  • Living Root of the Wildheart now has a chance to proc from any successful spellcast rather than damage/healing spells only
  • Various lootboxes had their loot tables corrected
  • You can now attempt to summon Black Qiraji Battle Tank while in combat once again

 

 

Quests

  • "The True Masters" script has been improved
  • "Mother's Milk" script has been improved
  • "Demoniac Scryer" script has been improved
  • "Balance Must Be Preserved" script has been improved
  • "As the Crow Flies" script has been improved
  • "Recharging the Batteries" script has been improved
  • "It's a Fel Reaver, But with Heart" script has been improved
  • "Battle of the Crimson Watch" script has been slightly improved
  • Dinosaur Bones will no longer drop from Bloodpetal Trapper and Frenzied Pterrordax
  • Essence of Xandivious will now drop from Xandivious' Demon Bag, not from Xandivious himself

 

 

Black Temple
The Shade of Akama encounter has been improved:

  • The encounter reset logic has been corrected to more blizzlike
  • Summoned Ashtongue creatures will now despawn on wipe

 

Blackrock Spire

  • The Urok Doomhowl summoning event has been improved

 

Caverns of Time: Battle for Mount Hyjal

  • Players will now trigger Azgalor's Doom when they die, regardless of the damage source

 

Caverns of Time: Escape from Durnholde Keep

  • The Melee damage of some Tarren Mill creatures has been corrected

 

Coilfang Reservoir: Serpentshrine Cavern

  • Fixed an edge case issue where sometimes Lady Vashj would fail to enter the second phase

 

Hellfire Citadel: Hellfire Ramparts
The Vazruden & Nazan encounter has been improved:

  • Vazruden will now evade from combat when dragged outside of the combat area
  • Nazan's Cone of Fire will now summon the correct liquid fire object
  • The encounter reset logic has been corrected to more blizzlike
  • Killing Nazan on heroic difficulty will now bind the group to instance (even if Vazruden remains alive)

 

Hellfire Citadel: The Shattered Halls

  • Warchief Kargath Bladefist's Blade Dance ability mechanic has been reworked to more blizzlike condition. Overall physical damage has been reduced significally.

 

Scholomance

  • The Jandice Barov's script has been improved

 

Stratholme

  •  Various creatures have had their patrol paths added
  •  Ramstein the Gorget's AI has been improved
  •  The attack speed and movement speed of all creatures in this dungeon has been corrected
  •  Spectral Citizens now have increased chance to evade incoming attacks

 

Sunwell Plateau

  • Shield Orbs are now immune to all kinds of crowd control effects

 

Uldaman
Numerous improvements have been made in order to make this dungeon more blizzlike:

  • The movement speed and attack speed of various creatures have been corrected
  • Various bad spawns have been removed
  • Corrected the patrol paths for various creatures
  • Stonevault Pillagers have replaced all Stonevault Rockchewers
  • The Stone Keepers event has been improved

 

Zul'Aman

  • Improved Jan'alai's Fire Wall to more blizzlike condition
  • Improved Zul'jin epilogue event
